Hello! I love potbelly pigs, I have a 4 year old potbelly pig that I got from someone how was going to abandon him, so I took him instead. I love Maxim the pig and he is a spoiled pig. I would like to go to one of the meetings, when I visit my family in Riverside.

Admin reply: We always welcome guests at our meetings. Our meetings are always the second Saturday of each month. For people who live out of state who cannot attend our meetings and events, we publish a monthly newsletter packed full of cute piggy stories, adoption stories, rescue stories, upcoming events, reports and pictues from events we have done, ads & announcements, adoption corner (Piggies that need homes), and all kinds of fun stuff. Please e-mail info@scampp.com for more info.

Hello! I met your representatives at the Paws and Claws Pet Fair here in Apple Valley today, and was enchanted by Stuart and his friends, and your very
knowledgeable and helpful members. I joined SCAMPP today..and look forward to adopting a couple of pigs, something I've wanted to do for a long time.
Thanks for the great work you do!
Suzan Moren

Admin reply: WELCOME TO SCAMPP. We LOVE new members.

As of May 2012, thanks Suzan for adopting three piggies who needed homes so far!

I have 3 beloved potbellies - one sixteen, one three & one nearly two. My youngest, a 40 lb female, came to me not having been fixed - which I didn't understand for a year, as she had a scar on her tummy. Do you feel that it's riskier to spay her at this age ? or would not spaying her compromise her health? Though smallest, she is the dominant pig.The local pig vet is coming on Wed AM
and I'm hoping you'll have an opinion... Helen

I love animals and I am seriously thinking about adopting 1 or 2 pot belly pigs. They are adorable.

Hi all,
Love those tea cup articles. People still believe they can buy a tea cup pbp and it will stay small. Keep educating the public. Website looks great Peggy. See you next year!
