THERE ARE MANY POTBELLIED PIGS THAT NEED TO BE PLACED IN PERMANENT HOMES. DUE TO THE FACT THE MOST OF THESE RESCUED PIGS HAVE MEDICAL NEEDS, WE HAVE A NEED FOR FUNDS IN WHICH TO SPAY/NEUTER, TREAT MEDICAL ISSUES AND/OR PROVIDE FEED AND SHELTER TO BEGIN THESE PIGS ON THEIR NEW JOURNEY. HOMER'S STORY
Some SCAMPP Members asked (the owners) to take Homer, from a home where he was being attacked by rottweilers. He was placed in a sanctuary but then developed pneumonia and was admitted to a vet hospital for several days, with a collasped lung. Through the expertise of vets and caring SCAMPP members, Homer pulled through and was adopted to a very loving home. THANKS TO ALL WHO DONATED TO HOMER'S VET BILL, we could not have done it without YOU!!!
